Selly Oak is dense streets, permit parking and a lot of short-trip use. Batteries on those cars are cycled hard. The replacement is still EFB or AGM if that is what the car has. An AGM must not be downgraded because the street is awkward. Awkward access changes the visit plan, not the battery chemistry.
The Solihull fringe is business parks and residential edges, with larger bays than Digbeth yards. The M6 is the boundary people use when they describe the north of the city. We fit at parked cars near those junctions, in yards and drives. We do not fit on the motorway. Hard shoulder and live lanes are 999, then a quote once the car is off the carriageway.
